I was in the same situation you were in. I owned the SE for six months when it was released and As much as it was a great iPhone, it's limitations ultimately pushed me back to the Plus model. The SE screen resolution and limited screen size were the biggest drawbacks for me. I also appreciate the contoured feel in the hand of Plus model over the edginess of the SE.

The Plus model just has a much better screen with the 1080 P display and I also like the larger screen for viewing, and of course the battery life is substantial with the Plus model.

Although, the SE has outstanding battery life and the portability factor is extremely convenient. Apples when the only manufactures that still makes a 4 inch iPhone and at a $400.00 starting point, it's a great phone.

They're both great if you can afford both

I've spent a lot of time using both interchangeable, before SE and 7+ combo

I'm sure someone could find a steal for a 64gig SE as a nice backup phone if nothing else

I bike ride plenty with 7+ in pocket but SE and bike riding is a godsend. It literally disappears in your pocket by comparison

SE is also great walking my dog and one hand using my phone ... he is totally
Only selectively loose leash trained right now :)

The 7+ is just great all around as a massive consumption and web browsing device. And superior at photography for sure. And looking at stuff outside, the screen is incredibly more viewable

But for casually checking things 4" is clutch

It's a sweet "iPod" too

I own both phones and would like nothing more than a 6+ (or 7) with an SE size/form factor. I'd even pay the same as for the 6+ (or 7).

I've recently downgraded to the SE as the 6+ size is simply too inconvenient for me (and I'm 6'2" with normal hands/fingers), but I got to admit that the 6+ is clearly the better phone if size and form don't matter.

Why Apple product management doesn't simply go for an 6+ with the SE form-factor is beyond me. For years they claimed that no one wanted and/or needed large phones and all of a sudden the formerly glorified size gets demoted to tier 2. Feels lame man.

I have both and as much as I used to bash phablet phones, I love the screen of my 6s Plus along with the keyboard. Much easier to type (but I'm used to the small keyboard of the SE too).

That being said, no smartphone beats the SE in terms of portability. The SE is what I will have in my pocket Friday when I get married. At least I know that my phone is on me without it being uncomfortable in my pocket (even though I'm sure I won't even use the phone all day).

Thanks for posting this! I just ordered a 6S+ this morning to replace my 5S and I had been on the fence for awhile about it. So it's good to see you're all happy with your choice!

People who are buying iPhone 6S models at this point, my question is, you know the iPhone 7 will get drastically cheaper after September. Don't you think you should hold up and buy a new phone after that? Be it the newest model or a generation older?

I don't think it will be "drastically cheaper" enough for me. I don't ever buy the newest version (as I said I am upgrading from the 5S) :)

Iphone 7 are not so different from the 6S . Speed is the same . I ve already tested an 6S vs 7 and I dont see any difference in perfomance, speed. Thats why I bought an 6S+. Plus, the 6S has the 3.5mm headphone jack, has 3d touch. Screen resolution is the same, 12MP camera in both models, same touch ID .The Iphone 7 is the most boring Iphone really.
S Iphones are so much better than non-S iphones.

I think that Apple will release an 7S this year.

You're right, but still why buy an older model when a newer model will cost the same just after a few months?!

Ps. I thought I was the only person who loved the headphone jack.

I got the SE as soon as it came out and it's been the most wonderful thing ever for me! It's perfect size, and I just love it overall! I wish I could have gotten the larger storage size when I got this one so maybe sometime I can upgrade :D

I think once the Apple Watch gains LTE and can handle calls/texts without an iPhone nearby a Plus/Watch combo will be great. Leave behind the iPhone for bike rides/running/swimming and still be in touch if you need to be. Use the Plus for when you don't mind carrying it.

If you love that 3.5mm jack, you may want to stock up on a extra 6s/+.

Come Sept, Apple just might discontinue their production. The SE will still be around, but it does lack force-touch and the better FFC.

I just bought an iPhone SE. I love it. I got it 2nd hand 2 months old and looks pretty new for £170. It is a 16GB but I don't mind, I can handle the storage. I will sell my 6s. I missed the size of the 5s which I think for me was the best size in smartphone. Very convenient, not a pain to carry and handle it. The phone is fast with good battery life. Just love carrying this little powerful smartphone.

Waiting till Sep is not an option if someone need new phone now. More so, not everyone willing to pay the ridiculous price for the latest model... the 6s\SE are still a powerful phones that will hold many years to come, even if you're "power" user.

Um, the iPhone SE also has a headphone jack, so why are you listing it like that's an advantage of the iPhone 6s coming from an iPhone SE?
