So I sold my old iPhone last week after putting a new battery in it back in November. My iPhone 6 Plus had served me faithfully since it's launch in September of 2014 but it was time for a new device. I purchased an iPhone SE 64GB new for $384 from TMOBILE. They were having a sale and were selling the phones for the same price as the 16GB models. I wanted Space Grey but they were back ordered so I settled on the Silver since I couldn't go without a phone for 2 weeks.

HOLY CRAP this phone is dope. It's wicked fast and I don't even notice that the screen is so much smaller than the 6 Plus. I have an iPad Pro 12.9 for large screen viewing if needed. I switched to TMO from ATT after they were going to gouge the UDP member for more money. TMO offered a $150 dollar gift card to transfer. When I get the card in 2 weeks I will be leaving TMO for ATT again and getting on their new cheap $60 unlimited plan. The phone is small, comfortable, an lightning fast. I'm very happy.

That is all.

If I where you I would read a little more about AT&T so called cheap $60 unlimited plan it is not what you think it is and you be better off staying with T Mobile has they have the best unlimited plan

Congrats on your new SE. I had made up my mind when I upgraded my 5s to buy the SE. Then at the last minute I changed course and picked up a 64g 6s to try a little larger screen. Don't get me wrong, I like my 6s, but I almost regret not sticking with my original plan. I just really like the size of the SE!

TMO is awful in my area. Just bad. It's not too bad in town but I have a 60 minute commute to work and back and the service is just gross on my commute. I'm still debating whether or not I will return. I do like the tethering feature.

I thought I would have issues going back to the 4" screen after being on the 5.5" for so long but its been great. SE is the perfect phone. I haven't tried to take pictures with it yet.

Congrats on the new phone. I initially went the same route as you (6 plus to SE) and the performance difference was night day. I had the SE for 10 months, but the only reasons I upgraded to a 7 was because of the front camera and not having optical image stabilization.

Hopefully Apple keeps the phone around and upgrades my only two complaints about it.

I see there maybe a new iPhone se coming out very soon i guess its worth waiting to see, do you think they will do away with the 16GB if so why ?

Nothing against the 6s or 7, but I can't remember seeing this many threads about people loving their SE. It absolutely is a fantastic device though and I'm glad to see Apple gave the 4" screen some much needed love.

Agreed. My only complaint is that posting on macrumors on this phone is difficult.

The keyboard does take some getting used to, especially since you came from a 6 Plus. I know that when I switch from my 7 to SE, I initially have trouble adapting to the smaller keyboard. But I get used to it.

Got the iPhone 7, so unfortunately the SE would be a downgrade. I say unfortunately because I just love the nostalgia and screen size of that thing. Would definitely buy one if it had the same features as iPhone 7, for now I'm just too spoiled.

I switched to SE after 5 years of using Samsung Note (5.3" 16:10 screen - at least as wide as iPhone Plus, just a little less height). I got used to the 4" screen instantly. Same usability when surfing the web or reading and writing messages (I can actually type faster, especially with one hand, because keys on the Note were too big and far away for this and it was quite heavy). Also same usability when using various apps. I thought Note could be used instead of a tablet - nope, still way too small, and the same goes for iPhone 6 Plus. The only time I noticed the smaller screen was, when I tried certain games, but I don't play those on the phone much anyway. SE is so practical, blazing fast and the battery is great too - no random battery drains over night like on the Note.

But there is one thing I miss a little - OLED. Colors were beautiful on the Note and black was really black...I wish Apple will continue to provide this size in the future, hopefully with an OLED screen.
