iPhone SE left speaker doesn't work (at the bottom)

while playing a song on iTunes, I cover the right and left speakers to see if both are working. Only the right one has sound. Is this the case for everyone?

I believe that the left one is a mic, not a speaker.

NB: I don't own an SE, but that's how it was with the 4S and 6, so I'm assuming that the SE is the same.

On my iPhone 5s, there is only one speaker. The grill is just for design. Most unfortunately....

Left grill houses microphone and such, speaker is only on the right, this has been the case for the longest time.

Don't worry it is a very common mistake so don't feel bad.

It's not a speaker. It only has 1 speaker on the bottom.
