Worth updating iPhone SE (not 2020) to 13.5 from 12.4.1?
Want to know:
- Battery life issues.
- Slowness issues.

Battery Life for iPhone SE has become progressively worse with each update.

9 - Great
10 - Good
11 - Acceptable
12 - Bad
13 - Torture

And I’ve tried multiple iPhone SE phones, and also multiple official Apple battery replacements.

You’ll be lucky to get 2-3 hrs SOT with a fresh battery on iOS 13.

Speed is fine though. Not an issue.

iOS13.5.1 Performance is fine but the battery % gauge is all over the shop. Seems to plummet down quickly to 1%. After a home key power key reboot it’s returned to a higher % again but now with a steady % drop.

Basically don’t bother. Features available in iOS 13 wont matter for most people in most cases, while more stuff running in the background is definitely not good for battery life, especially when user cannot shutdown unwanted processes (not just apps) by themselves.
