So I am going to get rid of my old iPhone 4s and get an iPhone SE tonight. Can anyone tell me if there is any problem or potential issues or any bad experience with this new iPhone SE?

Sorry, I did not follow all the threads here but just want to get a quick answer....

Thanks,

A quick search will give you both common issues, as well as piles of shining reviews. Check the device well before leaving the store and you'll be just fine.

Thanks, Matt. I think I will definitely buy this little SE since I dont like to hold the big phone or increase my pocket size to bring an iPhone 6. iPhone SE is right size for me (I hope).

Just thought if there is anything that I am not aware of... like quality issue or anything like that.

Thanks for your suggestion.

There are no real particular quality issues that really affect all models (and if there is something like that it's generally big news that gets around the mainstream media as well). But as with basically any model there will be some people with some issues here and there.

No 5 megapixel FaceTime camera
No barometer Sensor
NO 3D Touch

No Dual Domain pixels
No LTE Advanced
Old Touch ID sensor
when compared with iPhone 6S
And none of that has anything to do with what is being asked here.

I personally love mine for that reason. It's a comfortable size, nice looking design, and has fast performance.

Only issues I've seen mentioned are rattling buttons (common in all 5 based models), and slightly more yellow screens. Nothing too concerning, but there are threads on both if you'd like to read more.

uneven yellow blotches on the screen (mostly on the top half) is the main issue i've experienced along with rattling buttons coming from several exchanges now. check before you leave the store, but it's likely you'll end up with one or both issues unfortunately.

Has that issue with poor audio quality for phone calls using Bluetooth headphones and some Bluetooth car systems been corrected yet? Some of us also had it with non-SE phones but it was reported as primarily an SE problem.

Yep that was fixed with the latest firmware update.

Do you even know what the SE is and who it's for? He clearly wants a smaller phone. What "insufficient upgrades" are there over its predecessor (the 5s).

It is way behind from iPhone 6s.they just added a9 chip in iPhone 5 body and that's it.worst ever product from Apple

I beg to differ...

Seems like you missed quite a bit of what's in SE. Pretty much undermines much of anything else that might be said about it.

It's basically a 6S in a 5S body. I don't know where you're getting your misinformation from, but you're quite simply wrong.

Go look up the tech specs if you doubt it. Every review features them, as does Apple's page on it. Further, the SE actually benchmarks a bit higher than the 6S and 6S Plus, as shown above.
