iPhone SE Screen Protector and Case Suggestion Post

Hi all,


Wanted to reach out and see what screen protectors and cases you all used for the iphone 5— They’re supposed to be the same size and all… I had a Spigen screen protector, but it seems that Spigen no longer sells screen protectors on amazon, so I’m open to suggestions for a new one. I had an Otterbox case that I think I still have in a drawer somerwhere, but here’s a link to that one.

One of the main reasons I went back is because I had purchased an expensive case for me/wife's Iphone 5/5s' and will be able to use them.


Rokform Fuzion Aluminum with magnet included for easy dashboard mounting. The good part is I have a car where the mount is still there, however I ordered 2 new cases this time around.

Before the cases were $90 from Rokform directly and granted 10-20% off could be found pretty easily, I picked up these cases in the $60-65 range this time around.

As far as screen protectors. I personally use TechArmor Ballastic Glass (their warranty beats out all the rest) and they were in the process of trying to jack up the price to $15 a piece, however I was able to snag two for $9/piece.


And to echo eldo33 if you search Amazon specifically in the case of techarmor for the 5/5s you will get a cheaper price than the SE for the same exact thing.


**PS. I will be doing a proper review on a Amazon Rokform when my case phone comes in tommorrow.

First purchased Lifeproof Fre for my SE but sent it back because it distorted the speaker sound. The SE speaker was bad/low without any case so this just made it worse.

Purchased the Tech 21 Evo Mesh case and it fits like a glove with perfect all-around protection and nice added grip. Also purchased the Tech 21 self-healing glass screen protector.
 
I got a zagg tempered glass for my SE, and I'm looking towards the Spigen slim armor or the Otterbox Symmetry.

I have an older 5s otterbox defender on it right now, and its bit too bulky, plus with the tempered glass on it, the responsiveness of the touchscreen decrease with the defender case on it. I'm leaning towards the Spigen, though I do wonder how grippy it may be

Can you take a picture of the front of the RhinoShield on the SE?

I want to see how much the lip of the Rhinoshield wraps over the glass between its edges and the edges of your tempered glass.

I recently applied a Tech Armor Ballistic on my SE along with the Elago bumper, but the lip of the bumpers wasn't tight along the side of the phone, so I'm looking for another alternative.

That rose gold Spigen case sure is pretty. Can't seem to find it on Amazon though.

I only saw it on Spigen's website. I ordered the Spigen, and it should be here tomorrow - I was notified it was shipped yesterday.

I thought the lip would actually touch the glass, but I guess it stops just between the bezel and glass. I see the small gap between your glass protector and the edge of the case, and I'm just worried about dust getting underneath.

But then again, the protector is on flat surface anyways, unlike the curved of the 6 so its not like dust will get underneath right?? :confused:

I used AL13 V2 by think by m for a while with my iPhone 5s. Eventhough it is quite good product, it is only $22.- in US and Aluminum bumper is too fancy for me. Also, It work perfectly with Glass Screen Shield!

I have TechMatte tempered glass and power support smoked on my rose gold iPhone SE. I couldn't be any happier. Feels good to have iPhone 5/5s series of their cases back in my hand. They cut outs and the fit is just perfect!!! Love my combo couldn't be any happier. I'll post pictures soon.

Edit: A few hours hours later and went back to the Apple Store and returned it lol. Case looked amazing but it was way too slippery for one and it was a finger magnet. So as always, went to back to the apple leather case and went with the midnight blue. Looks awesome and feel great which is more important !

Just got a white Speck Candyshell for my space grey 64gb iPhone SE. This case is awesome! Couldn't be happier. It feels great!
 
Spigen slim armor s in gunmetal with Nuglass screen protector. I had one of these cases on my ip5 and they feel rock solid

No i don't find it slippery at all, just a well designed case that's rock solid ( my opinion of course )
The tempered glass screen protector is made by Nuglass, perfect fit and no issues
