hi there
I find my iPhone SE sound not that clear as the other iPhones
Does anyone feel the same about that matter

Sound through which speaker, the earpiece? I've not noticed it any worse than my previous phone (5s).

The speaker i find it kinda lower and not that clear have somehow an metalic sounding compare to my old one 4s
I wonder if may be is just my phone

Not really used mine to play audio through the loudspeaker that much yet. I'll give it a try tomorrow and report back if I notice anything amiss.

The speaker...
Speaker is lesser quality than the 6S, a bit more in a tunnel effect.

I'll run mine in with white noise at near full volume overnight (in another room in my house), then cycling through my playlist overnight a couple of times. Seems to hasten taking some of the edge off.

Exactly like in a tunnel effect you explained it very well
It is bothering me i expected if not better that at least the same sound of the speaker as ther other

SE speaker is horrible. Even at full max volume it sounds low and distorted. I don't remember the 5S speaker being this bad. Am I wrong?

I've noticed a difference in sound from my 5. It sounds distorted.

Yeah, My iPhone 6 sounded better and much louder than the SE. Even at max volume, my SE isn't really that loud. Other than that though, love the device.

This is bad news. I almost always use speaker at home because I live alone and I don't like having the phone by my ear.

This would be a big enough negative that I'd probably just pass on the SE.

The speaker on the 5S is great.

The speaker on my 6s is slightly better than my SE, you can only really tell testing them side by side though. Going on memory the SE speaker is exactly the same as the 5s i had.

You get what you pay for with Apple. Not surprising they put in lower quality speaker.

Hello,

I've played some music (from Google Music FWIW) and my speaker sounded as good as any other I've had on a phone (last iPhone was the 5s I moved from last week). Not tried a call via the speaker but I am not expecting issues. I'll report back once I've tried it.

The speaker on the 5S is great.

I just spent 45 minutes comparing my old 5S to the SE on different source material side-by-side,

From classical, to rock, to R&B, to sports talk...

I could not discern any difference between the speakers, to the point I didn't know whether it was the SE or the 5S that the sound was coming from.

The only difference I noticed was the auto-brightness level on the SE screen was about 10%-20% lower than on my 5S.

So the SE speaker isn't great, but it's the same as in the 5S.

Me too i did some testing again and it seams that the speaker dors sound as the one that iphone 5 has but iphone 4s has a way better speaker than both SE and 5
So i decided to keep the SE as 5 is not better nor do i expect the 6 speaker would be
