I just switched carriers Monday to Verizon and got a SE and it's super slow.
I came from a 6 and this phone should be faster but it takes forever to load web pages, apps, emails etc.. (shows the loading circle at the top by battery)
I updated to ios10 and it's even worse.
Also it seems like at the top left corner and right middle the touch screen is unresponsive at times. Sometimes I have to press 4-5-6 times to get it to work.
I am almost at the point to return it and order a 7 like my
Wife did.

Did you buy the SE from Verizon? One of my coworkers got conned into buying an iPhone 5 on CL by someone claiming it was a used SE. He just put the 5 in the SE's box.

Bought the phone new at Verizon along with their iPad deal.

Well in regards to this issue I returned to the verizon store to get a replacement phone. When I told the representative about the touchscreen issue he didn't even question and asked if I wanted a free upgrade to iPhone 7.
So my 2 week old se is junk and my 7 is on the way. Apparently its a pretty common issue because I asked my co-worker who just got an SE about a month or so ago and he has the SAME issue with the screen.
Looks like apple has a bad run of iPhones from china. Also looks like the ip6 has this issue as well:

The issue with the 6 line of phones is a somewhat different and older one as far as the cause and details. Not likely what would be behind some issues with SE that some might have. There don't really seem to be a great deal of these kinds of issues coming from SE owners, mostly likely some production inconsistencies here and there that can affect pretty much any massively produced product.

My SE is super fast and responsive. As fast as the 6s plus I sold to buy it.

It should not be slow and lagging in any way. Maybe you got a 5 instead, lol.

Does the Retina display look super clear and nice, or a more washed out color.

I would think a potential buyer would notice the 'SE' logo missing from the back of the iPhone if this were to happen. At least from someone who is observant.
