I guess you can decide which size iPhone you prefer or if you prefer a more colorful phone? The new SE is smaller than the 11 and much less expensive, so that might be another factor you can take into consideration.

If i was you i’d wait for the 5.4” iPhone 12. But if you do not want to wait until fall, then go on with iPhone 11.

You can then easily sell it and buy the new iPhone 12 if you do not like it.

Btw i use an iPhone 11 but i do not like its dimensions. I’ll buy the 5.4” iPhone 12 when it comes out.

Depends on many things.
1. Your usage habits. Heavy user=iPhone 11 for bigger battery
2. Size preference. Pocketibility=iPhone SE
3. Screen size= iPhone 11
4. Biometric preference. FaceID=iPhone 11. TouchID=iPhone SE
5. Camera. Night mode plus ultra wide angle lens=iPhone 11
6. Price. Best iPhone bargain=iPhone SE

Only you know your preferences on these things. I had the iPhone 11 and sold it and got the SE. I’m liking the smaller form factor. It has more than enough battery for my usage and the screen is big enough for what I use it for. YMMV

Unless you are adamant on having a 1 handed phone or on a strict budget, the 11 is the better phone by far.
As it should be at a 75% premium over the SE.

Also, Touch or FaceID, for some people its a deal breaker. I recently switched from an 11 to an 8+ as I prefer touchID and the way gestureless iOS works.
I done the exact same thing just went from an 11 to a 8 plus. I managed to get a brand new 8 plus here in the uk. For the same reasons as you I prefer Touch ID and the classic iPhone look.

Consumers really don’t have much of a choice anymore, it really is Face ID moving forward. I think Face ID is intimidating at first, but when you realize some of the distinct advantages it has with ‘auto fill password‘, encrypted messages until you look at the lock screen, and the ‘true depth‘ camera seems to be gaining more popularity in terms of the Animojis. Touch ID was very much refine technology, but I generally don’t think it’s missed by the majority I’m consumers, mainly because in order to have touch ID, you have an ‘older’ designed iPhone, when you look at the new design iPhone Starting with the X that launched in 2017, it has more technology, display area and overall just looks refreshed.

Oh I don't deny this, I have tried the X and 11 plus a number of Android devices with gestures and face unlock and for me the classic 6 design is still the best I will probaly pickup an 2020 SE at some point as well. I use a 7 as a work device.

Disagree with this. TouchID is far from dead. It's on a number of recent products including the iPhone SE, the whole MacBook line, and every iPad except the pro. It's actually a lot more prevalent across apple's products than FaceID, even now. And with rumors of in-display TouchID soon, I don't see it going anywhere for a long time.

I agree that Face ID is good in many areas but Touch ID has many of those mentioned features - of course not the Animoji’s if that’s a dealbreaker

SE is a much better value IMO

I also much prefer Touch ID, and I had the X, XS Max and 11 Pro Max

I sold my 11 and bought the SE2. I really wanted a more manageable size, and I can’t say I didn’t love the price. I have zero regrets!
