iPhone SE vs iPhone 7 camera - help!

Has anyone upgraded from the iPhone SE to the iPhone 7? I currently have the 5, and am deciding which to buy tomorrow. I like the better specs of the 7's camera, but hate the bigger size and lack of dedicated headphone jack. I'm wondering if the OIS (opitcal image stabilizer) that's present in the 7 but not the SE is really noticeable in still images. Help please!

My wife has an iPhone SE and I have a 7 Plus. In good light the camera quality is about the same. Can't tell any difference at all. The OIS is helpful in dim light though. My 7 takes better pictures in dark settings.

I have both and I cannot notice any discernible difference. I know the 7 has a better camera but to my untrained eyes it looks about the same.

My wife just upgraded to the SE from a 5. The camera is massively better than the one in her old 5. I have a 7 Plus, and agree with RR that her pictures look just as good as mine. If the only reason you're considering the 7 is the camera - that's not a good enough reason. Plus, the SE is much cheaper - especially since Best Buy has them on sale this week.

Cameras from se, 6s and 7 are identical in bright light. Only 7 is better at lowlight.

Iphone 7s camera is better than the SE but it doesn't blow it out the park. SE is a great bang for your $$ but why upgrade to theSE from a 5? Just fully upgrade to the 7 and get hour $$ worth

The SE is a massive upgrade from the 5. It is basically a 6S in the 5 body.

7 captures awesome video quality. No comparison with the SE.

Skatae- you pretty much would be happy with the SE base off your original post.

I just upgraded from the SE to the 7 about three months ago. I would've stayed with the SE but I had the 16gb option and was getting close to running out of memory. If u choose the SE, get the 64gb option and don't look back.

If you take a lot of video, get the 7, OIS makes a huge difference. Also, the front facing camera is TERRIBLE on the SE and huge improvement on the 7.

I went from a 6 to a 7, I find the photos sometimes look a bit cartoony. I've never had an SE but I'd be disappointed if the camera improvements on the 7 over the SE are only really noticeable in low light... considering the huge bump on the back of the 7
