My mother-in-law's iPhone 6s Plus is behaving super weird, as if it's been taken over by some sort of remote access malware. Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this? Please see the attached video.

 
Definitely a touch screen fault.

Can you remove the screen protector and see if that improves things? Unlikely but you never know.
