Carrier iPhone SIM from 13PM to 15PM

My Verizon 13PM has a physical SIM installed -- I bought the phone from Verizon with it installed. The 15PM that I am getting on Friday is directly from Apple. Would moving the physical SIM from the 13PM to the 15PM work?
