Hey guys,

I'm going to sell my iPhone 4 on craigslist sometime next week, and was wondering about the SIM: Do I keep it in the phone and sell it, or do I sell the phone SIM-less and keep it for when my iPhone 4S comes? Do I transfer the SIM from my iPhone 4 to the iPhone 4S or will the 4S come with its own, new SIM?

Thanks!

Take the sim out, unless you want the buyer to have all your personal information including your account info.

I always sell it with no sim. AT&T will give the buyer a new sim when he or she signs up for service.

The sim in your new phone will be programmed with your info, so no need to swap sims.

All these people that think they need to swap sims do not know what they are doing. The days of swapping sims were over years ago.

Besides who wouldn't want one of the new faster sims that's already installed in the phone. No risk of scratching anything either by leaving it in there.
