iPhone SIM Questions

I have ATT service (Just signed up last week and got a Sync)

Now, I'm thinking of trading away my Powermac G4 for an Xbox 360, because I havent used it in over a month, but a gentleman offered me a brand new 8GB iPhone for it.

So, now I'm kinda torn between the two.

With the iPhone, can I just take my SIM card out of my Sync and pop it in? I'd absolutely have to hate to pay another 36 dollars in activation fees. 😡

i'm AT&T and when i bought iPHone from my friend, i had to activate the iphone trhough iTunes.. i guess that's becuz to change the rate plan.. +$20 for data

no other sim card us going to work in the iphone , unless you unlock it first!
