iPhone slow back up and sms failure

In the last 2 weeks I've noticed my iPhone experiencing slow backups and syncs to my computer.

N6t only that but SMS's seem to freeze when I'm sending them too. This only happens every now and then though.

Has anyone else experienced similar things?

This thread mentions slow backups. I haven't had any issues since the 2.1 update. As far as SMS, no idea.
