iPhone slows down immensely when recieving a text

does this happen to any one else? I'm on a 4S btw. anything I'm doing will slow down to a stuttery crawl when I recieve a text. Any fixes

Have noticed this. Is a very bad bug. They really need to address this in the next update

My iPhone 4 does this. Right before the text comes in everything slows down and lags.
