iPhone software update server is down!!

Is this something everyone is experiencing? It worked about 10 minutes ago, but for the last five minutes I haven't been able to contact the server. Could this be a sign of an update? Could someone confirm?

Down for me. iTunes said it could not contact the server.

Back up. Says I am up to date.

works for me and says my software is up to date, maybe too many people from macrumors are trying to see if there is an update availabe?
