Ok... well my speaker/iPhone is acting quite funky. The speaker isn't broken, since when I go into settings and adjust the ringtone volume, it makes noise... however that's the only time when it will. It's not on silent mode.... and no apps make any noise. Also, in iPod, no music is emitted. Why is this? Am I missing something obvious?
