It's quite strange.
My 3GS is running 4.3.3 and 6.15.00 BB, because I'm using it on T-Mobile.
My speaker is totally garbled and sounds like it is blown out.
The headphones work fine, and the earpiece works fine.. until..
The phone makes a crackling noise (when there's no reason any sound should be coming out) and then all three outputs go dead.
I can reboot the phone.. then I'm stuck with the original problem, until they all die again.
I'm just not sure if it's a hardware issue and I should replace the 3GS Charging Port Assembly, or if it's on iOS issue.
Why is this happening?
What should I do?
