I have the iphone 2G and the volume is pathetic, i can barely hear it ring! Did apple ever fix the volume on the 3G?

i thought this was going to be a speaker not working thread. My 3g is a lot louder that my original. It sounds better as well.

It's a little harder but it's still fairly weak IMO. Apple really needs to fix this but it probably won't be until the release the Apple iPhone 5GSX62798 or whatever they decide to name their next line of phones.
