Hello .my friend said . Warranty iPhone is not start if im not put SIM card on the phone .. what is that true ??

But no always, i think.
If the purchase is made in store, it is the purchase date, which is what I answered to. If it is shipped to you, it should be the activation date.

Since you didn't provide any details, I was speaking from a U.S. perspective. Look up the details for your country (if not the U.S.).

Yes is true.. but on my country iPhone sell no always actived from date of purchase .
Maybe i should test activating without SIM card . I just read in some forum . They say iPhone warranty not actived of not put SIM on the phone . Sorry for bad English

I have always purchased online.
The warranty starts from the purchase date.
I then call them and they usually change it to the actual delivery date.
I don't think its from activation date - otherwise you could keep the phone for 6 months without using it, then expect a year warranty to begin.........
