iPhone still has beef with public networks?...

Still takes a while to display the mcdonalds free wifi acknowledge page I see, android is pretty instant and as a matter of fact it remember it by default and displays the "sign in" screen when you show the notifications, Iphone too this day still doesn't like public wifi too much.

This is from 2019 and it's still a issue today.

I find the best way is to manually connect to the Wi-Fi then wait for that screen to pop up in the settings. I think some people click away too fast, and that screen never shows. It’s never instant though so I can agree with that.

I find that with some networks, I can have it remember the Wi-Fi and it automatically connects. I don’t know how fast this happens because generally by the time I pull my phone out of my pocket it’s already connected. It might take a minute after it recognizes the network.

I really hate the pop up page that many public Wi-Fi networks have but I’m sure that’s due to some legal reason. This way if you abuse their network, you can’t sue them.
