I wish that the 3GS had this feature too. My iPhone 3GS dropped out of my pocket on a train and I never saw it again.

I installed Find My iPhone on my Wife's 3GS.

Apple really needs to implement the igotya picture taking thing into findmyi.

Fonehome has this feature.

You can send a "Here's the pix of me babe, please don't show them 2 yr friends" type message to the phone and when the thief opens it to see what he thinks will be pix of some hot girl, the phone takes a picture using the front camera and emails it (obviously iPhone 4 only).

I also delete the "Find my iPhone" app so that they don't come across it while perusing about.

That's a good point.

So if you delete the FMI app, you can still track it in the same way by going to the website?

I always presumed the app had to be installed for it to be trackable?
