My phone was stolen on Feb 23, 2019. There is a backup from that day but doesn’t have all the photos that I took on days prior. Can anyone help me retrieve these photos?

Old photos not on the backup are history. You need to remotely wipe the phone.
Apple told me that is not possible as I had to turn find my iPhone off to purchase a new phone. How can I remotely erase it?
Smells like bull%&*# to me.

Why would you need to turn off find my phone before able to get a new phone? That doesnt make any sense at all... that would mean that no one wouldnt be able to buy and use a second phone unless they turn find my iphone off.
