iPhone photo and video storage /extra Hard Drives…

I wish Apple would bring out a little mobile device to easily store All My IPhone Photos and Video instead of the iCloud… my iPhone is forever full with all my recent videos and photos
It’s so frustrating I have bought two IDiskk devices and they are expensive and are not easy to load and they are chunky… to carry around…

How much storage do you have on your iPhone? If you are taking that many photos and videos it may be worth it to have more storage. Also, what's wrong with having things stored in iCloud? I can't imagine anything easier to carry with you than cloud storage.

Unless things have changed…if you have a lot of Photos in the Photos app it's going to take up a lot of iPhone storage (it seems like as much as it can). Because of my subscription bundle with Apple I have enough space in iCloud to store them but they just take up too much room on the iPhone.

Currently, I use Google Photos to store/upload full-size versions of my photos. Once they've been synced to Google Photos I delete them from the iPhone. I pay Google $20/year for 100GB. 200GB would be $30.

I have many years of photos stored at Google and my iPhone says Google Photos is taking up 437MB of storage.

I already pay £8.99 A month for 2T iCloud I also have Amazon photos and that’s only 5 GB of videos I have Google photos which is full.

I just wish apple would invent a very simple small device to carry around and quickly put photos and videos from the day onto ie: last weeks family wedding, two weeks ago we as a family was away for a surprise 21st holiday for my granddaughter… very special moments
The IDiskk 2TB are very expensive
I have two of these, one is full up over the couple of years and they don’t always load, you have to turn my iPhone off and on again to reboot… it’s frustrating and so annoying.

My iPhone is 256Gb storage (which is Not enough) 🤣😂🤣
