Has anyone else seen this? I did a search but couldn’t find anything directly related. Any idea why it shows I’m using 145.5GB but if you add up just the first 3 items listed it’s already over 182GB. If I go to Settings>About, it states there as well that I have over 100GB free. Bugs?

yeah, I got the same issue: unreliable and downright weird readings on the storage graph. I first noticed it after migrating my old iphone x to a new mini 13, and at first it said there were a few GBs of apple music data... against maybe 245MB of actual music files... I've tried everything including uninstalling the music app to get rid of those GBs... nothing worked. After concentrating on the Apple Music storage, I then noticed the main storage bar was giving me random readings at random times (including a glorious moment in which I had 128GB free on a 128GB phone).
After that and some more random numbers I stopped caring (it still reads 4GBs of music data against 2GB of actual music files, though).

iOS 15 bug still there. Hopefully 15.2 fixes this.

I also have wrong amounts in the Storage sections of settings. It seemes to calculate a value for each app, but then never updates it when something changes.

For example, I had 1,5 GB of podcasts downloaded in Overcast. Deleted almost all of the files in the Overcast app. It still shows 1,5 GB of used space after that.

Has anyone else noticed this?

Edit: I'm on iOS 15.3

Ongoing issue for some since iOS 15 launched. It’s a bug that Apple can’t seem to fix.

I thought so. Hopefully they will fix it.

At first the storage calculation was completely stuck. A hard reset fixed that. But now the storage amounts per app are stuck and won't change, as I described earlier.
