Resolved iPhone stuck playing sound through headphones

Hi all, today I realized that I couldn't play sound through my internal speaker. It was stuck going through my headphones. Even when I unplugged them and when I adjusted the volume it still said headphones. Can this be resolved just be cleaning out the jack? I know the speaker works because I tried with skype and routed the audio through the internal speaker. Thanks!

Don't know about this problem, but similar sound problems can be cleared by just playing around with the headset jack. A little in-and-out with a jack. I believe there is a "ring" inside the female jack that gets stuck. Same advice applies to computer sound ports.

Just wiggle it around a little bit...
