IPhone suddenly turns off ....

weard!!

You wont believe me but i had the same problem, my iphone 3g tuned off whenever he wanted and began to do it more often, happened so many times and i tryed many things that I resigned the phone was dying, until i remove the Rubber Case. May sound strange, but from that moment the phone has performed perfectly, I have no problems at all even though it occurred to me for several months and often. ****ING WEARD.

Ugh!!!

This has been happening to me for a while. And recently it has lasted it's longest: 2 days.
Was on the crapper playing a game. Clicked it to sleep mode and went on my way. Went to open it up, and nothing. Dead. Doesn't respond to anything. Since it's out of warrantly (4 months out) Apple's response was "for $299 we can get you another replacement phone". I've sent it back already to them, and got the "we can not replecate your problem".

Not excited to shut it down and go through recovery mode, but might be my only option. This is BS for a phone that costs this much!!
