Just talked with an ATT store rep... His corporate email revealed that 1-800-My-iPhone is the warranty/service number for the iPhone.

Phone numbers have 10 characters. That one has 11.

So it cannot be the phone number.

many people use too many letters in their "vanity" phone numbers. the last number just doesn't do anything but help you remember the number...
