looking forward to any solution, as i'm having similar issues. my iphone connects, disconnects, connects, etc, etc to itunes. each connection lasts about 15 to 30 seconds before disconnecting again.
as a result, i have not gotten the latest minor firmware update yet. haven't had a good connection for months now. :(

What error # are you getting? Maybe i can find something about your problem by searching the number.

Sorry, startup. In my line of work, we use that all the time, but I didn't know it didn't come over to the internet world.

Edit: I just checked the Urban Dictionary, and they have S/U as shut up!! Ha! Different worlds.

Thanks for clearing that up! :) Otherwise I would've never guessed it jejeje

Check this out... Someone wrote this on another forum and I personally haven't tried it cause today I took my phone to mac, hopefully i'll get a new one.

They wrote the following:

It is a software problem in your computer. Thus, an iPhone update won't help it.

I've also checked the Apple support knowledge base and could not find that error, so perhaps you should call Apple (800-myiphon).

You can try the following:

Connect ONLY to a USB port on the back of your computer, not to a hub or a port on the front.

Disconnect all other USB devices except keyboard and mouse.

Make sure the USB drivers in your computer are the latest version (check the manufacturer's web site)

Make sure you have the latest version of iTunes (8.2.1.6)

Disable antivirus

COMPLETELY uninstall iTunes, reboot, then reinstall (see: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1925?viewlocale=en_US) You will not lose any music or playlists; they are saved even when iTunes is deleted.

fixed mine too

I boxed up this hunk of junk and shipped it back to Apple. Love my iPod. Done with this horrible excuse for a phone.

Hi

My iPhone 3G (8GB) will not sync with iTunes. I tried restoring, rebooting the system, basically, all solutions can be found in the forums, but nothing seems to be running. My error has the same number that everyone though, "Sync error 13,001.

What does this mean? Is it a software or hardware problem? If it's a software problem, do I have to wait for a new update or if I have looked through the Mac people?

By the way has the 3.0.1 software :)

I assume you looked at this thread:

Some of those solutions worked, but didn't work for others. From Apple Discussions it seems like a lot of people are frustrated, since Apple doesn't seem to address this issue.
