I've already posted something similar in the iPhone topic section. But this is different. I realise this category of the forum is to do with iCloud and wish to therefore glean more iCloud related information from people on here, who'll probably know more than me.
In the attached screenshot from Apple's iCloud site are their details of the Backup service. I interpret this thus: I can plug my iPhone into my new Macbook Pro. The computer will say the iPhone is synced with another computer and will offer to erase the iPhone and set it up as a new device. I say sure go ahead. I then restore it from my iCloud backup of App data, personal settings etc.
Now is that interpretation right? 😕
