iphone sync with new computer

I am traveling and want to use the 3.0 beta 2 with my iphone. I already have 3.0 beta 1 on my iphone.

I have downloaded the beta 2, but am unsure how to sync, since this is not my primary mac. I do not want to lose my apps, music, and photos. I use .me to sync contacts and calendars.

How can i use this "temporary" Macbook to sync?

Try a backup on the new mac. Then install and restore from backup. That would work for everything except for music I believe?
