iPhone syncing with new iTunes

Ok heres my dilemma.
I just switched to a Mac and i have the iPhone. I want to sync my iPhone with this new computer with the same exact stuff in iTunes, but i don't want to have to erase and sync it. I have a complete backup from my Vista computer. Is there an iPhone backup anywhere in the iTunes folder that i can drag and drop to this computer so i don't have to sync and erase? Any help would be great!

I have gotten away with backing up itunes and then restoring the data and installing itunes on the same computer. but I very much doubt it will work on a mac.
one way or the other you will need to deathorize that windows computer. otherwise you loose one of your 5 computers.
