iPhone tethering/hotspot limited to 100Mbps?

Hi all,
My iPhone can achieve download speeds of 150Mbps+ on 4G. When I tether my phone to my laptop over USB it creates a network adapter but this adapter is configured at 100Mbps, anyone know of a workaround for this so I can utilize the full download speed of the 4G network?
