iphone to iphone cal sync without mobile me

My boss has ical on his iphone 3gs. He only uses the ical on his iphone and does not sync it to a desktop computer of any kind. I am his newly appointed assistant and I need access to his calendar. I know that he can somehow use google calender as an agent, for me to subscribe to his calendar. I do NOT know how to upload/export his calendar from his phone, to google so I can subscribe to it from there.

Please advise and thank you in advance!
