Since music, ring tones, and apps bought from the itunes store gets copied only in one direction in a sync, that is from the computer to the iphone, what happens when I buy a new computer? How do I get my music, apps, etc. into itunes on the new computer

If you're going from Mac to Mac, you can use the cool Migration Assistant program to copy all of your data from your old Mac to your new Mac. Just connect the computers with an ethernet cable and it does the rest for you.

    Otherwise, some options:
Use a program like Pod to Mac or senuti.
Use an external HD (to copy your iTunes folder from the old computer to the new one).
Put both computers on the network and map a drive to copy the iTunes folder over...

    :)

My computer was stolen and when using itunes to sync with my iphone I get the warning all my movies, music and apps will be deleted and replaced with the ones in itunes (none). Can I copy my movies and music somehow from my phone to itunes and resync with the new movies I've added to itunes (ripped not downloaded).
    Thanks.

Use a program like "Pod to Mac" or "senuti" to move the files from your iPod to your computer.

When you're absolutely sure that they're all there, just let the iPod sync like it normally would (which will wipe it clean, then copy the stuff over).
