I know this gets posted alot but my iphone dropped into a bucket of water. I pulled it out right away and put it into rice for three days. Finally got it to boot up but the slide to unlock doesnt work. I think my biggest problem is that i dont have service with AT&T. I have a cell phone with Metro pCS so basically i just my unlocked iphone as a portable computer. Does anyone in here think that if i took it to the apple store they would do anything for me. I am out of the warranty.

Short answer, No. Even if it was still covered by warranty they wouldn't do anything.

Dude, pay attention to your own avatar.

Yes, Apple will do something for you, if you hand over the money.

    $200, for out-of-warranty service - http://www.apple.com/support/iphone/service/faq/#warranty7

Good point. I just wanted to make sure he knew that there was an alternative to chucking his iPhone or selling it on eBay.
