Iphone Touch Screen not responding

I have a 2g Iphone 8gb and the touch screen isn't responding. I can't slide to unlock so the phone is useless as of now. The upper half of the screen works as I can slide to power off.


I've restarted the phone, restored as new, and restored as other or whatever.


Any other tips?

Will Apple replace it even if its the 1st gen iphone?

They will replace it if it's still under warranty/Apple Care. If not, no they won't.
