Iphone traveling charges

I'm sure I already know the answer to this, I'm leaving for a last minute business trip and wanted to take my phone for gps or email,

but when im out of country does it cost extra to use my data plan?

if it does can i turn of data roaming?

Dunno what your location is.

I know here in Europe you can get roaming data bundles. They aren't very generous roaming data bundles (between 1-20mb) and they sure do charge a fortune for them!

I can't answer for the US. Your best bet is to call your network operator and see what they can offer you. 🙂

Yes, on the order of dollars to the megabyte.

Yes, talk to your provider. It's also a setting in System Preferences.
