iphone unlock with no att account?

Is there a way to unlock and iPhone 4s via att with no att account? I've unlocked a 3gs along time ago and didn't realised SAM wasn't working anymore.

I think you're out of luck. I've seen numerous posts here and elsewhere from non-AT&T customer who have tried and tried to get unlocks to no avail.

You can also use one of the sim card trays to unlock it, I forgot there name, but google it.
