iPhone unlocking to other network

Hi guys, been over a year since my last post!

I just recently got an iPhone 3G for £50 and I'm loving it. I have jailbroken it already, got all my apps installed etc.

How do I go about unlocking it to say for example, 02, Orange etc...

Can I jailbreak and unlock for other networks?

I saw you are in UK. Try to work with carrier first to see if you can get them unlock it for you.

If the carrier doesnt unlock it, seeing as its a 3G come back here and it shouldn't be hard to unlock that guy for you.
