iPhone updated to iOS11: Volume HUD still appears!

After updating to iOS11, one of the things i've been reading about is that the volume HUD that blocks the screen would be hidden.

But it's still showing today after updating to iOS 11.

anyone else seeing this issue?

Yes, also on Watch ESPN, Fox Sports Go, etc.

Same here, I was really looking forward to this change but I still get that huge screen in the middle.
I´m trying with headphones on and I´m getting it everywhere: youtube, music, iPhone´s videos and so on.

EDIT: I tried one video included in one webpage (it´s not youtube) and I got the new interface with a small volume UI at the top.

I’m a bit disappointed. I really was hoping that this change would be universal not just in apple videos. The HUD is truly a waste of space.

On the bright side, YouTube has fixed it but only when you watch videos in horizontal mode. If you watch it in vertical mode, the HUD still appears. I’m wondering if app makers should take on the responsibility of making the change in their own apps.
