I am thinking about signing up for the iPhone Upgrade Program on apple.com. Does anyone know, based on experiences of previous years, when will iPhone 13 series be available through this program? Is it on the day 1 or several weeks later? Thank you for the help!

Pre-order day - availability for Upgrade program is no different than availability for everyone else.
Agreed. Once the Apple Store reopens then it’s everyone for themselves. There is no priority for the upgrade program. They see the same apple store that we do

What if you decide to keep the phone after a year instead of trading it in? Pay off the remaining balance?
Yes you can keep the phone and conti ue to pay it off monthly
How does the upgrade program work if you currently outright own an iPhone 12 Pro Max? I could trade it in to Apple for $790 and get a 13 Pro Max 128gb for $309 (without AppleCare plus).
If I join the upgrade program, do they still take the $790 credit off the price and the remaining is spread out over 24 months?
