My local store only has the Rose Gold 7+ in stock. If I were to go get this phone on the IUP, is it subject to the same 14 day return policy as all other Apple Store items?

I was thinking I could get this color until they have the color I want in stock, but wasn't sure if the IUP had the same return policy.

It does. I made sure of that when I got my 7 Plus. I had the 6s and wasn't sure about going to the bigger size. Only thing is they said was to return on day 12 or 13 because the system is a stickler on day 14.

Thank you very much for your help. Gonna go ahead and get this one.

Yea, free rentals of $1000 electronics.

This is why return policies get stricter and stricter.

Yup! That's what I said. I'm renting it for 13 days and will continue to do so for the rest of my life. ABUSE THE SYSTEM!

So you are going to take a phone away from some one who might actually want that color just so you don't have to wait? Cool.

Yeah, that does not sound right. Apple will let you return the phone for no reason? Is there a restocking fee? I get if the device is defective, but getting one just to "have" until your color comes in is wrong, imo.

Yep their return policy is no questions asked. At least until they get tired of the abuse.

I was to do that to because a lot of people do that. I asked some apple employee and he said it was alright.

Geez. I bought a Jet Black iPhone because I thought that's what I wanted. I now think I would prefer the matte black, but I feel bad returning it just because I think I might like another color better. They can't just resell it. They'll have to send it back and refurbish it. This seems messed up and wasteful and some people are intentionally buying the wrong color just to tide them over for a few days knowing full well that they are going to return it? SMH

Yeah but I think you have to close out your citizen one loan and then open a brand new one. Not good for credit.

YOU may not feel like it's a big deal because that plus model isn't desirable to YOU. But there is someone else who wants it considering most places are still running out of all pluses in a few hours. I hope the window drops to 7 days next so only real problems can get taken care of. No matter what side of the fence you're on about the policy, it's a selfish move.
