Just wanted to see if anyone in the pre-approval stage got hit with a hard credit check when applying. I know last year that wasn't the case.. I didnt get hit with a credit check.. but just wondering if thats still going to be the case this year.

This is my second year and I didn’t get hit with the credit check. Only on the initial application when I first joined the program

The FAQ says it might not be a hard pull but there's no guarantee.

I applied last year and got a hard pull. I paid it off super early and was done with the program. I reapplied a night ago and was hit with another hard pull.

My first iUP loan in 2016 was a hard pull with Equifax, 2017 was a soft pull, 2018 was another soft pull, this year was a hard pull again with Equifax.
