Okay, fair. 90% of my local Apple Stores, which there are 10 within 100 miles. 9/10 have replaced for a hairline crack with no impact point for myself, friends and family.

Only one didn't want to do it because it looked too 'suspicious' wherever the hell that means.

So you were there at all your local apple stores and you have internal repair statistics that all customers that ever came in with hairline cracked screens that 90% of those got replacements for free.
Keep posting more nonsense...

Now you're just being a jerk. I already told you you are correct. And now have given you statistics of my personal experiences with these 10 apple stores and the dealings that I had with them as well as friends and family. 9/10 of these stores replaced screens for hairline cracks. That's not nonsense. This is fact based on MY experiences. If you read my post that you quoted you would see that this is my personal dealings and no where do I claim these experiences are representative as a whole.

Lol:)
So you and your 2 friends personally exchanged 9 cracked screens with no charges supposedly.
So that must be an Apple rule then and everyone else has 90% chances to get repairs for free. Keep going :D

Where did I say me and my 2 friends? I swear you are the one making things up. Over the past 5 years I have known 9 people plus myself that have experienced hairline cracks.

Again, there is no official policy that Apple will replace them, but there is an unofficial policy that if its a single-hairline crack with no impact point or webbing, you have a very, very good chance at getting it replaced for free.

I don't know why you are insistent that my experiences are representative as a whole. I am not saying that and do not claim that they are. I'm merely offering my experiences for the record so others have a better understanding of what may or may not happen.

So now 9 people over 5 years.
Anyway again there is no such policy.
Apple provides great customer service and many times if you're honest and upfront with the Apple rep they could let you slide and repair or replace your device for free.
Again even if you broke it yourself or accidentally got it wet etc... Apple goes the extra mile with customer satisfaction.
But if you show up and act entitled or Blame Apple or the phone and say things like the screen cracked on its own or that you guys replaced my cousins for free last time or I heard you replace the small cracks for free for everyone else and that you have a policy for hairline cracks and other nonsense you can be sure they will charge you full price and not help you much.
My advice is be honest, friendly, be patient and take responsibility for any damage you caused and you have good chances of walking out happy.

I really don't understand why keep trying to make it seem like I'm making up my story. I never once said how many people, I never said one show many years this occurred. My original post clearly said 9/10 stores replaced it. I have 10 stores within 100 miles of my location. Its not "so now", its not "so you and 2 friends" and again I'm not claiming I am a representative whole for this. With that I am done. But it would be nice for you to stop putting words in other's mouths.

Whatever you say...

How thick are you? I posted a scan of the official training document. Not to mention I have friends that work in Apple retail. There. Is. An. Official. Policy. Doesn't matter how many times you say there isn't.

Internal documents with training guidelines is not Apple's official replacement policy.
I know a little better than you and your buddies ;)
Case by case decisions is up to individual Apple technicians interpretation and discretion.
