Hi everyone, I upgrade every year through the iPhone Upgrade Program using my dad’s information since he’s the primary account holder. His credit score recently dipped to 734 after he opened a new credit card.

Will this affect my approval for the iPhone Upgrade Program when pre-approval opens in September?

I’ve always been approved every year with existing and new loans , but I just want to make sure his new card and lower score won’t cause any issues this time.

It certainly could affect things, but there is no way to know for definite, lenders have different criteria so who knows!

Why don't you have your own account and information instead of relying on your Dad's credit score?
