    Hi,

I was looking at the specifications for the iPhone on the Apple UK web site (while I continue to consider a purchase), and I saw that under the operating system specifications (Mac or Windows) it mentions USB 2.

My Mac (G4 iMac) only has USB 1.1, so I wondering if any one could confirm whether they have used and jailbroken a 1.1.2 iPhone with a USB 1.1 only computer, as I don't want to get one and be unable to use it with my Mac or my Sim!

    Cheers
    Stu.

The reason they require 2.0 is for it's charging capability. Although I have charged over USB 1.1 in the past. That's what I've always understood about USB 2 devices that charge off the port.

I am hoping that it is just for charging and data transfer speed reasons, but it would give a bit of peace of mind if someone out there has done a jailbreak on a similarly specced system - especially at a cost of £270 to try it :)
