my (2G) iphone has been having some volume problems. searching through some of the threads, it seems like it's pretty common. but specifically, my lower volume button no longer "clicks." a slight touch and it will toggle the lower volume, while my upper volume button still responds with the "click." all of a sudden, my volume will, on its own, lower itself. even when i toggle the up volume button, it will continue to go down. after fighting it a bit, i can get it back up and manage it to stay and it will continue to do this randomly. i notice that when it does do that my phone get really warm... as if i've been watching videos on it for a long time, but this happens when i just begin to use it.
1. have any of you guys experienced this?
2. is this valid for an exchange?
