Hi I am looking forward to buying a phone between blackberry pearl and iphone. i know stil lthe iphone is 2 minths away . but do u think its a good bet goin in for the blackberry pearl as of now as i am vary of buyin the 1st gen of iphone.. I will someday def go for the iphone. Do u think blackberry pearl is really worth it . Please help Thanks
IF you are going to get a BlackBerry get the 8800 the Pearl doesn't even come close the usability of 8xxx series.
the thing is the blackberry pearl feels really good i the hand.. 8800 i feel is a bit too big. as i wanna use just 1 device as a phone and mails.. wat are the disadv of blackberry pearl.. E90 nokia is too big. i dotn like big phones
My 8700c is shorter than the Pearl but it is a little wider the volume is roughly the same. With that width you get a QWERTY keyboard which makes typing twice as fast (for me personal I never got into the txt slang) Plus the 8800 has GPS capabilities & Removable memory (Micro SD)
Sorry to say but I went through 7 pearls in about 4 months with T-mobile. 6 black models and 1 white one. All of them had some issues with the speakerphone or the regular earpiece speaker, but the last one had memory errors with saving pictures or contacts. I just got my E62 in as a replacement and I am the happiest person in the world with IMAP4 support unlike the blackberry which had crap IMAP support. I'm waiting for the iPhone myself but lets hope it's perfect when it comes to IMAP (non Yahoo style).
See i live in india. i have no idea when its goin to be launched here.. maybe a yr later maybe more. Do u think thesere is any cahnce of a iphone having an unlocked version soon after its launch.
It is highly unlikely knowing Apple - tat isn't even taking account that US cell service providers hate unlocked phone and gouge you if you really want want with out fighting.
i am very temepted to go for a smart lookin phone also.. other phones from blackberry arent too smart...thats another big problem....
I am not sure what you mean exactly - but I personally prefer the looks, interface, and limited but usable software (notes, calendar, contacts, etc). Compared to the Windows Mobile hones that are loaded to the gills with stuff I won't/don't care to use.
All PDA mobile phones suck. The iPhone is the first mobile that I like. I'll definitely go for the iPhone.
